Mutual fund investing involves risk, including loss of principal. For specific risk associated with each investment choice, please click on the fund name and refer to the "Investment Considerations" or "Investor Profile."
Bond funds will tend to experience smaller fluctuation in price than stock funds. The return of principal in bond funds is not guaranteed. The principal value of a bond falls when interest rates rise and rise when interest rates fall. During periods of rising interest rates, the value of a bond investment is at greater risk than during periods of stable or falling rates. Bond funds have the same interest rate, inflation, reinvestment, credit and prepayment risks associated with the underlying bonds in the portfolio.
Tax Exempt Funds: The fund's income may be subject to certain state and local taxes and, depending on your tax status, the federal alternative minimum tax.
The recent growth rate in the stock market has helped to produce short-term returns for some asset classes that are not typical and may not continue in the future. Because of ongoing market volatility, fund performance may be subject to substantial short-term changes.
Class I Shares are not subject to an initial sales charge when purchased, a contingent deferred sales charge or Rule 12b-1 fees.
Class A Shares MOP performance figures reflect a maximum sales charge of 2.00%. Prior to 5/1/01 the maximum sales charge was 5.75%.
Class R Shares are not subject to an initial sales charge or a contingent deferred sales charge, but have a Rule 12b-1 fee.
Class C Shares are not subject to an initial sales charge, but are subject to a deferred sales charge of 1.00% on shares redeemed within the first year.
Class C Shares MOP performance for periods less than 1 year reflect the effect of the 1.00% CDSC.
Class I and R Shares are available only to select investors as described in the Fund’s prospectus. Please read the Prospectus for information on the eligibility requirements to purchase Class I and R Shares. Total returns are historical and include the change in share price and reinvestment of dividends and capital gains distributions, if any.
1Regional Funds: Investing in regional funds may involve additional risk since investments are concentrated in one geographic area.
2Performance of Class R Shares and Class A Shares @ NAV do not include the effects of the maximum 2% sales charge which was in effect for the Gradison Government Income Fund from its inception until July 7, 1997.
3The Fund is technically a “non-diversified” fund. As a non-diversified fund, the value of the shares may fluctuate more than shares invested in a broader range of securities.
cCore Bond Fund: The Adviser has contractually agreed to waive its management fee and/or reimburse expenses, as allowed by law, so that the total annual operating expenses (excluding certain items) of Class A shares do not exceed 0.90%, and Class I shares do not exceed 0.55%, until at least February 28, 2011.
cFund For Income: The Adviser has contractually agreed to waive its management fee or to reimburse expenses, as allowed by law, so that the net operating expenses of this share class do not exceed 1.82% until at least February 28, 2014.
cNational Municipal Bond Fund: The Adviser has contractually agreed to waive its management fee and/or reimburse expenses, as allowed by law, so that the total annual operating expenses (excluding Acquired Fund Fees and Expenses, and certain other items) of Class A shares do not exceed 0.99% until at least February 28, 2011.
